I had the immense pleasure of working with Alicen Holmes to plan a very special trip—10-year wedding anniversary. While my husband and I had planned numerous vacations over the years for our blended international family, we had never been on a vacation just the two of us. Not grounding the vacation on the various agendas of a family of six we were a little lost for how to create a vacation for just us & where in this beautiful world to go. This is when I reached out to Alicen. She organized a discovery call to understand what was important to me and to my husband, what experiences we wanted to share, what climate was important to us, was there a specific part of the world we wanted to explore, and our budget. Within 48 hours, Alicen presented us with the PERFECT proposal. A once in a lifetime, forever memorable trip to Belize. All we had to do was show up. Everything was taken care of for us. What a special gift. Once there the special touches were everywhere with Alicen’s fingerprints on it. Mentions of our anniversary at reception & in our sleeping room, meals that met our dietary requirements on tours and at the various resorts. I cannot say enough positive things about my engagements with Alicen or our time in Belize. It was all absolutely sensational. Alicen Holmes is a dedicated and knowledgeable advisor who believes in making the wants and desires of her clients come true! She attentively listened to our every request and even made suggestions for options we hadn't thought of. The app that was used to track our trip was amazingly useful! Alicen suggested walks, tours, restaurants, and my favorite "don't miss this" made walking around Old San Juan an absolute delight! Every detail provided memories we will not soon forget. She took her time and connected with us to ensure she was developing our dream trip all while staying within our budget. She thought of every little detail including ensuring we had transportation from the airport when we arrived. Alicen chose accommodations that provided us amazing views of the ocean and Old San Juan. Her recommendations for places to eat were spot on and as a result we found a number of interesting places on our own to try! From ice cream shops to museums that were wonderfully placed begged us to marvel at just how perfect they all were. Had Alicen not guided us in these directions we would have missed so many gems along the way. She carefully formed our itinerary to include days of rest and times to just take in the beauty of San Juan without time constraints. Alicen's attention to our needs allowed us to have a photographer (something I never would have thought of) to bring the beauty of our trip to life in amazing color. Our photographer captured moments that took our breath away! We now have a book of memories showing our love for one another and for the beautiful Island of Puerto Rico. This trip will be the first of so many we hope to create with Alicen Holmes! We can't wait for the next one!
