I've always been an explorer, approaching the world with an open mind and curiosity. As a rule of thumb, I seek authentic experiences, especially in lesser-known destinations. I also strive for balance, blending the best of the outdoors and indoors, urban and rural. Short of a personalized history guide, my ideal city break is unstructured, meandering through different neighborhoods in search of locally recommended dishes and wine. Out in mother nature, I'm either pursuing opportunities to see wildlife or chasing physical challenges - mountain climbing, hiking, and archaeological treks - activities which typically conclude with a little relaxation and bodysurfing on a warm, tropical (ideally, clothing-optional) beach.
